Windows 8.1 Retracted for the Surface RT [Day 53]

The Windows 8.1 RT update has been removed from the Windows Store, with a resent post quoting:

“Windows RT 8.1. Microsoft is investigating a situation affecting a limited number of users updating their Windows RT devices to Windows RT 8.1.
As a result, we have temporarily removed the Windows RT 8.1 update from the Windows Store.
We are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.
We will provide updates as they become available.”

To assist those whose devices are effectively BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) or effectively bricked can download an original image of the Surface RT, along with instructions included on how to use, can be found here

  1. Nice blog here! Also your site loads up very fast! What host
arre you using? Can I get your affiliate link
to your host? I wish my site loaded up as quickly as yourss lol

    • Thanks, it’s just hosted on wordpress’s own servers (i Use the free .com online blog, not hosting the .org software anywhere else)

  2. When I originally left a comment I appear to have
clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and from now
on each time a comment is added I receive four emails with the same comment.
There has to be a means you can remove me
    from that service? Thank you!
